Chocolate Ice Cubes for Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day!! Hope you all are enjoying the day with your loved ones. Just a quick little treat to share with you. Some chocolate Ice Cubes to liven up that glass of milk with a little chocolaty goodness!

The taste was like a fudgesicle and mixed well with a glass of whole milk, though I'm sure would be just as yummy in a glass of skim or 2%.

Make them in any shape, hearts, cause they're just so cute, or cubes for any day or Christmas trees...use your imagination, have fun with it! Any type of candy mold would work as an ice cube tray, so the sky is the limit, well as long as the stores make them, it is.

Ingredients:
200 ml Milk
50 ml Water
1 Tsp Granulated Sugar
85g Dark Chocolate, Chopped

Directions:
Chop the chocolate into very small pieces and place in heat proof bowl.
Add milk, water, and sugar into a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. After the liquids come to a boil remove from heat.
Pour the milk mixture over the chocolate and let sit for 5 minutes or until melted. Stir with a wooden spoon until nice and creamy. Let cool for about 15 minutes and then pour into ice cube trays or candy mold.
Leave a little space in the mold for expansion. I filled the molds slightly more than 3/4 of the way full.
Freeze on a flat surface in your freezer until solid. Usually several hours.

Serve with milk or if you like you can follow the recipe on the mixer for the Vanilla Milk. Enjoy!!
